Dan is in the process of completing his degree through the School for Adult Learning program, and barring unforeseen circumstances, should complete his degree requirements in 2008. He has his sights set on an M.A.T. (Master of Arts in Teaching) program when he completes his SAL degree, with the goal of becoming a licensed teacher. He currently works for Indianapolis Public Schools and has received several awards and special recognition for his work in the Special Education area. Dan is a single father of three sons.
"I just really think that if the SAL program here was copied by other universities, you would probably see many more adults going back to school."
