Driving Directions to Campus
(with Pictures)

Locate U of I Using MapQuest External site

If you are coming to the University of Indianapolis campus from the east, north, or south, these directions will guide you directly into the campus. Print this Web page to your printer and bring the driving directions with you. What could be easier?

FROM THE EAST OR NORTH: Take I-465 around the east side of Indianapolis, all the way around to the south side of town. After you pass the huge Beech Grove water tower, you will see this sign:

You want to take Exit 53A onto I-65 North. As you approach I-65, you will see these signs in sequence:

In the last picture above, you can see I-65 North in the background of the photo. Stay in the right hand lane. As soon as you get onto I-65 North from the Exit 53A ramp, you will see this sign (if you are coming from the south on I-65, just go to Exit 107 and look for this sign):

[If you are coming from the north on I-65, there is a similar interstate sign that identifies the Keystone Avenue exit (same number: Exit 107).]

You want to get off I-65 North at the Keystone Avenue exit. In the photograph above behind the Keystone Avenue exit sign, you can see another green interstate sign that is not quite readable. Here is a closer view:

The next sign you will see is the exit, which looks like this:

When you get off of I-65 North onto the Keystone Avenue ramp, you are going to make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp, so stay on the left side of the ramp as you exit. At the bottom of the ramp, you will see this sign:

Turn left at the light pictured above. You are turning onto South Keystone Avenue. Go to the third light and turn right. This is what you will see:

There is a Phillips 66 gas station partially visible just behind the University of Indianapolis sign in the picture above. When you turn right at this intersection, you are turning into the westbound lanes of East Hanna Avenue. Go to the second light (State Street). This is what you will see:

Continue to the next light (Otterbein Avenue) and turn right. As you make your right turn, you are turning into the visitor's parking lot. Most administrative offices (including Admissions, the School for Adult Learning, Registrar's Office, etc.), are located in Esch Hall, which is immediately adjacent to the visitor's parking lot.
