Driving Directions to Campus

The University of Indianapolis is located in Marion County on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. It is less than five minutes from two major interstates that pass through Indianapolis--I-465 and I-65. Follow the driving directions below for easy and fast access to the campus. From I-465 (coming from the east)

Take I-465 around to the south side of town to Exit 53A (I-65 north). As soon as you get on I-65 north, you will see the big green interstate sign that says "University of Indianapolis Exit 107." Take Exit 107 (Keystone Avenue). Turn left. Go to the 3rd light (Hanna Avenue). Turn right. Go to the 4th light (Shelby Street). Turn right. Go about 100 feet and take the first right into the U of I parking lots. Find a place to park in Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 (the RED area on the Campus Map marked "All permits and visitors" or the GOLD area marked "Visitor parking only"). Parking is free. Then walk east in between the library building and the DeHaan Fine Arts Center. We are located in Esch Hall, directly east of the DeHaan Fine Arts Center, just a 2-3 minute walk from your car. Esch Hall houses the administration building which includes the Office of Admissions, the School for Adult Learning, and other administrative offices.

From I-465 (coming from the west)

Take I-465 around to the south side of town to Exit 2A (U. S. 31 North). Go to the second stop light (Hanna Avenue). Turn right. Go to the 2nd stop light (Shelby Street). Turn left. Go about 100 feet and take the first right into the U of I parking lots. Find a place to park in Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 (the RED area on the Campus Map marked "All permits and visitors" or the GOLD area marked "Visitor parking only"). Parking is free. Then walk east in between the library building and the DeHaan Fine Arts Center. We are located in Esch Hall, directly east of the DeHaan Fine Arts Center, just a 2-3 minute walk from your car.
