Extended Programs Division (EPD)

Extended Programs Division
The Extended Programs Division consists of evening, weekend, and graduate classes. Extended Programs classes are offered on a traditional 15-week semester basis (14 weeks plus finals week), beginning in August and in January. Also, two 7-week Summer Sessions are offered typically beginning in April and June.

The majority of classes are 3.0 credit hours and most classes meet one night a week, 5:45-8:35 PM (although meeting times vary; check the Schedule of Classes). Summer session classes typically meet two nights a week for the same amount of time.

Class schedules are available about two months prior to the beginning of each semester. It takes 62.0 credit hours to earn an associate degree and 124.0 hours to earn a bachelor's degree. Hence, it takes about 20-22 courses to earn an associate degree, and about 40-45 courses to earn a bachelor's degree.
