Gerry Conklin

Ten years. Ten faces. Ten stories.

Gerry Conklin, Class of 2006.Gerry was a U. S. Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot who suffered a life tragedy upon returning home from the military. In spite of these personal circumstances, when he graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a School for Adult Learning degree, he was in a leadership position with his company. He found that his SAL classes helped him find his way at a difficult time.

"There were open arms: a welcoming feeling. And the fact that they were able to take a lot of my background and incorporate that into a degree was a wonderful opportunity for me."

Congratulations to Gerry Conklin on his academic achievements at the University of Indianapolis!
