The School for Adult Learning is located in Esch Hall, Room 103, right inside the new west entrance to Esch Hall—first office on the right. Esch Hall is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Hanna Avenue and Otterbein Avenue (Good Hall is on the SE corner of this intersection, the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center is on the NW corner, and University Heights United Methodist Church is on the SW corner). The SAL office is always closed each year on these days:
Spring Break 2009 is the week of March 8-14, 2010. There are no classes during this period. The SAL office will be open on Monday and Tuesday, March 8-9, then the office will be closed the remainder of the week.

The University will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2010, in observance of Labor Day.
There will be no Day Division or Extended Programs Division courses on Monday, October 11, 2010, in observance of the annual Fall Break. However, Accelerated Programs Division classes will meet as scheduled.
The University will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, until Monday, November 30, 2009 at 8:00 AM, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Extended Programs Division classes (15-week classes) will meet on Monday and Tuesday, November 22-24, 2009 as scheduled. There are no 5-week Accelerated Programs Division classes from November 23 to November 29, 2009.
