Parking Permits
Obtaining a Permit
Parking permits are available without charge to all adjunct faculty members. You may obtain a green faculty/staff permit in the Campus Police office, Schwitzer Center 001, any time the office is open (until 10:00 PM weekdays, 4:30 PM on Fridays). Parking permits are also issued during Adjunct Faculty Orientation.
Each vehicle you drive must be registered separately. You may not switch parking permits from one vehicle to another. Bring your driver's license and vehicle registration with you when you come to campus to register your vehicles. This will facilitate the registration process. Campus police will not take guesses for your license plate number ("I think it is something like..."). Presenting your vehicle registration simplifies the process considerably!
A Word About Campus PoliceCampus police strictly enforce the parking rules and regulations on campus. A brochure describing these regulations is available from Campus Police. Adjunct faculty members are issued green faculty permits, which allows you to park in any marked space on campus except reserved parking places, handicapped parking, etc. Don't park in visitor parking on either side of Esch Hall! You may be ticketed and/or towed. A word to the wise: don't push your luck!
