Testing Times at UIndy

The University is pleased to offer year-round (12 months) WALK-IN CLEP and DSST testing (and other proctoring) in Esch Hall 103, with proper photo ID, on any date shown below in GREEN, beginning any time during the times indicated.

For example, if the time given is 11-5, this means that you may begin a CLEP or DSST exam as early as 11:00 a.m. or as late as 5:00 p.m. See notes below.

Bring TWO photo IDs to verify your identity:
(1) a government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, passport, state or federal ID, etc., PLUS
(2) a second form of photo ID such as current student ID card, current employee ID card, military ID card, or a social security card.
You will not be admitted to the testing room without proper identification—I am not allowed to make exceptions to this rule or waive it.

Credit cards may not be used for identification!

For proctoring other than CLEP or DSST, we close at 7:00 pm weeknights and 4:30 pm on Fridays. Again, proctoring is available on any GREEN day shown below. We are required to give you the full amount of allotted time for an exam; hence, you must begin an exam in time to allow the full amount of scheduled time for the exam before we close for the day (whether or not you actually use the full amount of time allotted). Example: You must start a 3.0 hour exam at least 3.0 hours before we close. NOTE: We do not proctor exams for students attending Western Governors University (Utah).

CALL BEFORE YOU COME TO BE SURE THE PROCTOR IS HERE: 317-788-3393.

THESE ARE NOT THE SCHOOL FOR ADULT LEARNING'S OFFICE HOURS. THESE ARE THE SCHEDULED HOURS WHEN THE PROCTOR IS AVAILABLE TO ADMINISTER AN EXAM. SAL Office Hours.

CALENDAR SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
I'm usually here—I've only missed 10 days in 25 years at UIndy due to illness. But sick days, meetings, emergencies, etc. may preclude me from being available to administer exams on some GREEN days shown above. Hence, the calendar is current right now as you look at it. But check back on the day you intend to take a test to see if the calendar has changed! Generally speaking, my office hours are 11-7 weekdays and 10-4:30 on Fridays.

Always call the School for Adult Learning front desk at 317-788-3393 to verify that I am available for testing before you make a trip to campus. --Proctor
